Job summary

Donaldson is seeking a results-driven sales professional in Malaysia to achieve revenue targets for compressed air purification products within the assigned territory. You will develop channels, build relationships, and convert end-user needs into actionable opportunities while coordinating with global teams.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree, strong communication and negotiation skills, CRM proficiency, and willingness to travel regularly within the territory.

Qualifications

• Understanding of general industry applications; technical product sales background.
• Excellent communication skills, strong technical comprehension, and sales drive.
• Strong negotiation, influencing, and follow-up skills.
• Computer literacy and proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software.
• Experience in the effective use of CRM software.

Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of achieving sales and profit targets for the assigned territory, customers, and product range.
• Establish, build, and maintain relationships with target customers through regular touch points such as site visits and business reviews.
• Identify and understand end-user application needs, propose solutions, and convert them into opportunities, quotations, and ultimately sales.
• Identify and develop local key accounts, and follow up on global strategic accounts by sales area and market segment.
• Identify and develop distribution channels for designated products and markets, as appropriate.
• Collaborate closely with regional and worldwide application engineering teams, seeking regular support and providing consistent feedback.
• Ensure proper documentation of success stories by market and application, in cooperation with application engineering.
• Maintain robust activity planning and reporting using the Donaldson CRM system (Dynamics 365).
• Monitor trends in applications and new technologies within target markets.
• Derive product and development recommendations through close communication with R&D and engineering facilities.
