Job summary

iCar Asia Sdn Bhd (Carlist.my) is seeking a Telesales Executive to build and manage a dealer network in Klang Valley. You will perform 40+ daily calls to convert prospects, generate fresh leads, and promote Carlist offerings while ensuring high engagement with dealers.

The role requires strong communication in English and Malay, with Mandarin being an added advantage, and the ability to train dealers on advertising methods and inventory updates.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualification: SPM or equivalent.
• Excellent telephone etiquette and persuasive communication skills.
• Proficiency in English and Malay; Mandarin is a plus.

This role is based directly with iCar Asia Sdn Bhd (Carlist.my), a subsidiary of Carsome Group.

Carlist.my is Malaysia's leading automotive digital marketplace, we connect millions of car buyers, sellers, and dealers across Southeast Asia. We are looking for an ambitious, driven Telesales Executive to build, grow, and manage our dealer network in Klang Valley.

Core Sales & Customer Acquisition

Perform 40+ successful business calls daily to dealers and sales agents, focusing on conversion and relationship-building.

Generate fresh contact leads from competitor platforms and market research.

Engage all assigned dealers to promote new products and services, ensuring clear value communication.

Train and guide dealers on effective advertising methods, while securing regular inventory updates (weekly/monthly).

Drive new customer acquisition across key regions, including East Coast, Sabah, and Sarawak.

Convert free users into paying customers through strong product pitching and objection handling.

Account Growth & Retention

Build, manage, and grow customer accounts by planning and executing strategies that increase monthly spending.

Ensure listing quality meets PIPP standards (Pictures, Information, Price & Position) for maximum visibility.

Promote Carlist Qualified offerings (Inspection Report & Extended Warranty) to enhance ad credibility and dealer trust.

Gather and analyse market intelligence from assigned territories to identify opportunities and stay ahead of competitors.

Requirements

Minimum qualification: SPM or equivalent.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant computer applications.

Excellent telephone etiquette, persuasive communication, and customer handling skills.

Proficient in both English and Malay. Mandarin proficiency is an added advantage to communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
