CHEC CONSTRUCTION (M) SDN BHD is seeking a Telecommunications Technician (Network Management) to carry out routine inspection and maintenance of railway telecommunications and network systems in the assigned maintenance area. You will assist in preventive and corrective maintenance ensuring safe, reliable operation of telecom equipment and information systems.
The role requires collaboration with the team, willingness to work on shifts, and a proactive safety mindset.
Carry out routine inspection, testing and maintenance of railway telecommunications and network management systems within the assigned maintenance area.
Assist in preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure the safe, reliable and efficient operation of telecommunications equipment and information systems.
Monitor the operational status of telecommunications systems and report abnormalities in a timely manner.
Identify, report and assist in rectifying faults in telecommunications equipment in accordance with maintenance standards.
Record maintenance activities accurately and prepare maintenance and inspection reports.
Comply with company safety procedures and applicable railway telecommunications standards and work instructions.
Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor.
Job Requirements:
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Information & Communication Technology (ICT), Railway Communications, Computer Networks or a related discipline.
Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Candidates with internship or industrial training experience in railway telecommunications, network management or information systems will have an added advantage.
Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Willing to learn and develop technical skills.
Responsible, proactive and safety-conscious.
Good teamwork and communication skills.
Willing to work on shifts and at project sites when required.
