Job summary

CHEC CONSTRUCTION (M) SDN BHD is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform routine inspection, patrol and maintenance of railway tracks across project sites.

Fresh graduates with relevant degrees are encouraged; strong English and Bahasa Malaysia communication, safety-consciousness, and willingness to work outdoors on shifts at project sites are required. Teamwork is valued.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Railway/Civil/Transportation Engineering or related discipline.
• Fresh graduates encouraged; internship or industrial training in railway track maintenance is a plus.
• Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Willing to work outdoors, on shifts, and at project sites.

• Carry out routine inspection, patrol and maintenance of railway tracks and related infrastructure.
• Assist preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure safe and reliable railway operations.
• Identify, report and rectify track defects per maintenance standards.
• Record maintenance activities and prepare basic inspection reports.

Job Requirements:

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Railway Engineering, Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering or a related discipline.

Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Candidates with internship or industrial training experience in railway track construction or maintenance will have an added advantage.
