CHEC CONSTRUCTION (M) SDN BHD is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform routine inspection, patrol and maintenance of railway tracks across project sites.
Fresh graduates with relevant degrees are encouraged; strong English and Bahasa Malaysia communication, safety-consciousness, and willingness to work outdoors on shifts at project sites are required. Teamwork is valued.
Carry out routine inspection, patrol and maintenance of railway tracks and related infrastructure.
Assist in preventive and corrective maintenance activities to ensure safe and reliable railway operations.
Identify, report and assist in rectifying track defects in accordance with maintenance standards.
Record maintenance activities accurately and prepare basic inspection reports.
Comply with company safety procedures and applicable railway operating standards.
Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor.
Job Requirements:
Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Railway Engineering, Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering or a related discipline.
Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Candidates with internship or industrial training experience in railway track construction or maintenance will have an added advantage.
Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
