CHEC CONSTRUCTION (M) SDN BHD is seeking a Maintenance Technician to carry out routine inspection, patrol and maintenance of railway bridges, tunnels and other civil infrastructure. You will assist in preventive and corrective maintenance to uphold safety and reliability and report defects under established standards.
Qualifications include a Diploma or Bachelor’s in Civil/Railway/Structural Engineering or related field.
Carry out routine inspection, patrol and maintenance of railway bridges, tunnels, culverts, embankments and other civil infrastructure.
Assist in preventive and corrective maintenance activities to ensure the safety and reliability of railway infrastructure.
Identify, report and assist in rectifying defects in civil structures in accordance with maintenance standards.
Record maintenance activities accurately and prepare basic inspection reports.
Comply with company safety procedures and applicable railway maintenance standards.
Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor.
Job Requirements:Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Railway Engineering, Structural Engineering or a related discipline.
Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Candidates with internship or industrial training experience in railway, bridge or civil construction and maintenance projects will have an added advantage.
Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
