Job summary

Delima Kinta Sdn Bhd in Taiping, Malaysia is seeking a versatile automotive technician to perform general repairs and maintenance across vehicle systems.

You'll diagnose mechanical faults, trace engine and transmission issues, adjust body components, install basic accessories, and coordinate with the Service Advisor on additional jobs. A proactive approach to workshop cleanliness and tool upkeep is expected.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic maintenance programs and fault tracing of engine management system problems, engine tuning and adjustment, and general repair and overhaul of engines
• Fault trace auto-transmission and manual-transmission problems, and perform general repair of transmission, clutch, pumps, and related components
• Fault trace problems and replace or repair basic components
• Fault trace suspension and undercarriage problems and replace or repair basic suspension and undercarriage components
• Fault trace air-conditioning problems and replace or repair basic air-conditioning components
• Adjust body parts, locks, window winders, and other body and interior parts
• Install basic accessories
• Coordinate with Service Advisor on additional jobs
• Maintain good housekeeping of the workplace and upkeep of workshop hand-tools and special tools
• Carry out any duties and job functions as instructed by the Company or person acting on behalf of the Company
