Job summary

Delima Kinta Sdn Bhd is seeking a full-time Account Executive to perform general accounting tasks, monitor cash flow, and support tax and audit processes. The role involves learning company procedures and expanding work ethic under supervision by the Superior and Directors.

The position focuses on financial reporting, budgeting support, and collaboration with management to improve financial performance. Based in Taiping, Perak, Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Carry out general accounting functions including preparing profit and loss statements and monitoring daily cash flow
• Ensure maintenance of accounting control procedures and resolve discrepancies
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and year-end close financial reports
• Assist budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
• Coordinate audits and implement audit recommendations

Job description

Working under the supervision of the Superior & Directors, the full-time Account Executive will carry out duties assigned to them in a professional manner. Will seek to gain knowledge of the companies' procedures and expand their work ethic.

Key responsibilities

Carry out general accounting functions including preparing profit and loss statements and monitoring daily cash flow, banking facilities, and payment schedules

Ensure implementation and maintenance of appropriate accounting control procedures and resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities

Compile and prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year-end close financial management reports and statements

Develop and maintain financial databases

Ensure timely submission of annual and monthly Company Tax Returns and SST submission to relevant government agencies and ensure compliance with payment, reporting and other tax requirements

Monitor and resolve all taxation issues

Prepare for financial audits and coordinate audit work relating to both internal and external audits in periodic review of company financial records

Implement agreed upon recommendations resulting from audit findings

Assist Management in budgeting and forecasting activities, develop, maintain and analyze budgets, and prepare periodic reports comparing budgeted costs to actual costs

Analyze and advise on business operations including revenue and expenditure trends, financial commitments and future revenues and maintain solutions to business and financial problems
