Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a maintenance technician to perform routine building maintenance and repairs on-site in Penang. Ideal candidate has 1–2 years' experience and a technical certificate or diploma.

They will troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, mechanical systems, conduct inspections, and coordinate with the Building Manager. On-site role with benefits including EPF, SOCSO, annual leave, medical leave, health insurance, and training.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in building maintenance or related field.
• Technical certificate, diploma, or relevant qualification is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and general building systems.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willing to work on-site.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine building maintenance and repairs.
• Troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, and mechanical issues.
• Conduct regular inspections of building facilities and equipment.
• Attend to maintenance complaints and breakdowns promptly.
• Carry out preventive maintenance works.
• Monitor contractors and maintenance works when required.
• Ensure facilities and common areas are safe and well maintained.
• Report maintenance issues to the Building Manager.
• Respond to emergency maintenance matters when required.
