Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a maintenance technician to perform routine maintenance and repair on production machinery and equipment in our facilities. You will troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues, conduct preventative maintenance, and maintain detailed service records.

The role requires 1–2 years of relevant experience, ability to read technical manuals and schematics, and a commitment to safe working practices. Flexibility to work non-standard hours is expected.

Qualifications

• Certificate / Diploma in electrical/ building maintenance or any relevant technical field.
• Minimum of 1 - 2 year of experience in a maintenance technician role.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical , plumbing systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Willingness to work flexible hours when required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repair on production machinery and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues.
• Conduct preventative maintenance checks and services according to schedule.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities.
• Ensure a safe working environment by adhering to all safety regulations and procedures.
• Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and minimize downtime.
• Monitor maintenance contractor during renovation/ upgrading works
• Attend to all service request such as changing lights, ceiling boards, painting and other repair works in the factory, hostel, & office
• To upkeep company building and hostel at all time in good condition
• Any other duties/ task will be assigned by superior from time to time
