The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing the hotel's building, facilities, equipment, and M&E systems. The role ensures all facilities are safe, functional, and well-maintained to support smooth hotel operations.
Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance for hotel facilities and equipment.
Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical, mechanical, plumbing, air-conditioning, and civil works.
Ensure all maintenance work is completed safely and according to hotel standards.
Monitor and maintain building facilities, lighting, water, sewage, and other related systems.
Conduct regular inspections and report any defects or maintenance issues.
Carry out basic electrical, plumbing, civil, and general repair works when required.
Supervise contractors and vendors during maintenance and repair works.
Conduct testing of equipment and maintain proper maintenance records.
Ensure tools, spare parts, and equipment are properly maintained and stored.
Respond to urgent maintenance issues and breakdowns when required.
Minimum Certificate/Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or related field.
Minimum 1–2 years of experience in building or hotel maintenance.
Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, air-conditioning, mechanical, and general building maintenance.
Experience in air-conditioning servicing, troubleshooting, and repair will be an added advantage.
Able to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair works.
Good problem-solving and communication skills.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Willing to work shifts, weekends, public holidays, and on-call when required.
Familiar with workplace safety requirements and proper use of PPE.
