Job summary

TEKIE is seeking an entry-level Technical Support Executive (NOC) to monitor network and security dashboards, perform basic troubleshooting, and log incidents. This on-site role requires rotating 24/7 shifts at Immigration HQ,Malaysia.

Ideal candidates hold SKM, Diploma or Degree in IT/Networking, with a basic understanding of networks and IT systems. You will coordinate with onsite teams, escalate to senior engineers when needed, and support daily operational logs.

Qualifications

• Entry-level candidates with IT foundation and willingness to learn.
• Understanding of basic network concepts and IT systems.
• Ability to work rotating shifts and on-site.

Work Arrangement: On-site, 24/7 rotating shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor network and security systems using dashboards and monitoring tools
• Observe alerts, alarms, and system notifications
• Perform basic checks and first-level troubleshooting following standard procedures
• Log incidents and updates in the helpdesk system
• Escalate issues to senior engineers or vendors when required
• Follow incident handling and escalation guidelines
• Assist with basic reporting and daily operational logs
• Support on-site coordination with internal teams when incidents occur

Working Hours

• 24/7 shift rotation (including night shifts, weekends, and public holidays)
• On-site work at Immigration HQ
• Shift schedules provided in advance
• SKM, Diploma or Degree in IT, Computer Science, Networking, or related field
• Basic understanding of computer networks and IT systems
• Willing to work rotating shifts
• Responsible, punctual, and able to follow procedures

Preferred (Not Mandatory)

• Basic knowledge of networking concepts (LAN, WAN, firewall, VPN)
• Familiarity with monitoring tools or ticketing systems
