Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Level 1 Network Operating Center Engineer for a 12-month contract in Shah Alam (Subang Hi-Tech). The role involves monitoring alarms, managing tickets, and dispatching on-site fault restoration during 7am-7pm and 7pm-7am rotations.

You will work with GSM/WCDMA/LTE networks, perform initial analysis, escalate as needed, and ensure security in line with Risk Management directives. Certifications in Telecom are advantageous; willingness to work holidays and weekends is

Qualifications

• Certifications in Telecom are advantageous.
• Understanding of service networks and core/transport elements.
• Willing to work rotational shifts, public holidays and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and handle alarm management & ticket management for the assigned Network Services.
• Fault remedy requiring on site presence dispatched timely as per SLA/severity matrix.
• Perform initial analysis to identify issues followed by restoration if possible (1st line of support).
• Escalation and notification to keep management and other business units informed during system outages.
• Regular follow up on the events with relevant departments working on it as per the process.
• Work towards the tasks assigned by the Shift Manager/NOC Manager.
• Ensure security is implemented and maintained per Security and Risk Management directives.
• Adhere to organizational guidelines, departmental processes & procedures.

Contract 12 months
Location: Subang Hitech, Shah Alam
Working hours: 7am-7pm / 7pm-7am(Rotational Shift)

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and handle alarm management & ticket management for the assigned Network Services.
• Fault remedy requiring on site presence is dispatched timely (as per the SLA / severity matrix) to the field operations organizations.
• Perform initial analysis to identify issues follow by restoration if possible (1st line of support).
• Perform escalation and notification to keep management and other business units informed during system outages.

Key Qualifications:

• Certifications: Any Certification related to Telecom shall be an added advantage.
• Technical and/or functional skills: Good knowledge of service networks / GSM Network / WCDMA network / LTE network / service applications characteristics and capabilities; Service Performance indicators and their interpretation. Basic Knowledge of services and service applications implementation/integration processes along with Access, Core, Transport, Cloud and Service Networks.

• Must be willing to work on rotational shift, public holidays and weekends.
