Job summary

DKSH seeks a Specialist, Technical Sales to grow relationships within the Semiconductor and Electronics business line in Penang, Kedah and Perlis. You will combine technical depth with strategic sales execution to meet customer requirements and drive growth.

Responsibilities include identifying customer needs, delivering technical information, establishing new accounts, and planning effective territory coverage while maintaining healthy accounts receivable.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Marketing, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of sales experience, preferably in a technical sales environment.
• Strong technical aptitude with proven sales capability.

Responsibilities

• Identify customer requirements by building strong relationships with potential and existing customers and key stakeholders.
• Provide technical and engineering information on products, services, and equipment in response to questions.
• Establish new accounts and plan effective sales calls to maximize territory coverage.
• Prepare strategic sales plans for territories and demonstrate equipment through demonstrations and presentations.
• Follow up on invoices to ensure timely payment and maintain accounts receivable.
• Prepare sales activity reports by analyzing trends to support visibility and planning.
• Update CRM with customer information and communications for accurate records.
• Contribute to team objectives by delivering results aligned with business priorities.
