Job summary

Kumpulan Abex Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a motivated technical sales professional in Malaysia to grow existing accounts and secure new business. The role combines engineering knowledge with sales to present products and deliver tailored solutions on customer visits.

Responsibilities include preparing quotations and coordinating with internal teams to ensure on-time delivery, while fresh graduates are welcome to apply and willingness to travel. This on-site position requires valid transport.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of relevant experience in technical sales, engineering or application roles.
• Exposure to E&E, test & measurement, photonics or automation is an advantage.

Job description

• Drive Sales & Business Growth – Develop existing accounts and identify new business opportunities to achieve sales targets.
• Technical Sales & Product Presentation - Promote and sell technical products and solutions through customer visits, presentations, and demonstrations.
• Deliver Technical Solutions - Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable products/technical solutions.
• Manage Sales from Enquiry to Delivery - Prepare quotations, proposals, tenders, and sales forecasts while coordinating with internal teams to ensure smooth project execution, after-sales support, and customer satisfaction.
• Professional Development – Continuously build technical and industry knowledge through training, self-learning and engagement with principals.

Job Requirements

• Minimum Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (E&E, Mechatronics, Telecommunications), Physics, or related disciplines.
• 1-2 years of relevant experience in technical sales, engineering or application roles; exposure to E&E, test & measurement, photonics or automation is an advantage.
