Job summary

PMI Technology Sdn Bhd seeks a Sales Engineer to blend technical expertise with sales skills to understand customer requirements, recommend solutions, and assist the sales team from inquiry to order.

The role involves product presentations, site visits, and collaboration with engineering, project, operations, and product teams to deliver tailored filtration solutions for industries including food processing, edible oils, and water treatment in Malaysia and globally.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Understand customer requirements and recommend appropriate products, systems, or solutions.
• Perform customer visits, site visits, surveys, measurements, and technical assessments when required.
• Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and technical briefings for customers.
• Work closely with sales teams to identify opportunities and develop technical proposals.
• Prepare quotations, technical proposals, specifications, and supporting documentation.
• Respond to customer technical inquiries and provide pre-sales technical support.
• Collaborate with engineering, project, operations, and product teams to develop solutions.
• Attend customer meetings, trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events.
• Follow up with customers and support the sales process from initial inquiry through order confirmation.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, opportunities, and sales activities.
