Job summary

IMI Precision Engineering Malaysia is seeking a proactive sales professional to identify and develop new business opportunities, build strong customer relationships and deliver technical solutions that address customer pain points.

You will travel to customer sites and events, collaborate with engineering, manage accounts, and provide accurate CRM updates while pursuing growth and favourable contract terms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of proven sales experience with a technical background in pneumatic systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication with the ability to convey technical concepts clearly.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites and events.
• Ability to collaborate with engineering for post-sales support.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities by selecting and categorising customers.
• Practice account planning, preparation and reporting with concise updates for management.
• Demonstrate account management by analysing customer business, problems and priorities.
• Achieve sales and GP budgets by demonstrating products and differentiating from competitors.
• Analyze market trends and provide feedback to drive continuous improvement.
• Negotiate favourable commercial terms and reduce contractual risk.
• Collaborate with engineering to address customer concerns post-sales and provide technical assistance.
• Provide timely CRM updates for reporting.
