Job summary

IMI Precision Engineering is seeking a proactive sales professional to explore and secure new business opportunities in Malaysia. You will cultivate key customer relationships, demonstrate products, and translate customer needs into practical solutions.

You will work closely with engineering to address post-sales support and drive growth, while maintaining accurate CRM records and contributing to strategic account planning.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years or more with proven sales track record and technical understanding of pneumatic systems, motion and fluid control.
• Good written and verbal communication skills with ability to convey information effectively.
• Interpersonal effectiveness and professionalism for win-win solutions with customers.
• Strong problem-solving skills and growth mindset to identify/address problems with solutions.
• Willing to travel to customer sites, trade shows and industry events.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment to promote growth.
• Curiosity and willingness to continuously learn and grow.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities through effective customer targeting.
• Prepare and report account plans and updates for management.
• Conduct account analysis to understand customer needs and priorities.
• Demonstrate the technical and commercial benefits of IMI Precision Engineering’s products to customers.
• Analyze market trends and feed insights to management for continuous improvement.
• Negotiate terms to secure favorable commercial contracts and minimize risk.
• Collaborate with engineering to address post-sales feedback and provide technical support.
• Update CRM with accurate, up-to-date information.
