Job summary

Voith Paper Fabrics Ipoh Sdn. Bhd. in Ipoh, Malaysia, seeks a sales and service professional to cover assigned customers, ensure safety compliance, and drive service and sales activities for Paper & Roll System (FRS).

The role focuses on developing customer relationships, delivering quality service, and contributing to profitability with timely technical visits and data for discussions with clients. Fluency in English and Mandarin is preferred for cross-client communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Chemical, Papermaking, Science, or related field is required.
• Minimum 2 years experience in papermaking or paper machine clothing/Roll business or similar.
• Understanding of Paper Machines and related Manufacturing Process.
• Strong commitment to customer satisfaction including after-hours calls and travel.
• Ability to liaise effectively with internal and external clients.

Responsibilities

Job description

Responsible for sales and service activity in given area and assigned customers.

Follow all regulatory, customer and Employer’s health and safety requirements in the fulfillment of this role.

Responsible for Fabric & Roll System (FRS) service and sales activities at given accounts in Malaysia.

Develop the relationship with customers and gain the credit of trust by providing quality service, reports and products to customers, focusing on increasing the customer profitability and machine run ability.

Responsible to promote the company image to existing and potential customers by the quality and speed of response of technical visits and data in order to prepare for technical discussion.

Utilize the employer’s service resources properly, to assure the best synergy and cooperation needed to secure orders from customers and to provide fast response to customer reaching their satisfactory, in a reliable and accurate way.

Responsible to organise, plan and manage the service & sales schedule efficiently and as requested by your manager.

Responsible for technical liaison internally and be a key driver of business success. Provide inputs and assistance in the marketing activities in close collaboration with the Regional Sales team.

Manage and control sales expenses, in close collaboration with Regional Sales manager, to make sure sales expenditure is always focused on achieving most effective Sales profitability, using common senses, analysis, and judgment on each particular case.

Not withstanding the above stated job descriptions, there could be other relevant duties that may be assigned to you by Employer management. There may be occasions where travel outside of your assigned area is required.

High level communication is required both in day to day operation but also in official reporting.

Job Requirement:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Chemical, Papermaking, Science, or related field

Minimum 2 year experience in papermaking or paper machine clothing/Roll business, or similar industry

Understanding about Paper Machines and related Manufacturing Process

Strong commitment to customer satisfaction including after-hours calls and travel

Ability to liaise effectively with internal and external clients

Computer knowledge, (Microsoft Office, Data Base)

English, Bahasa Melayu & Mandarin fluently in writing and speaking
