Job summary

INFORMATION2 SOFTWARE (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to establish and lead the Malaysia technical team, deliver product explanations and PoCs, and craft technical solutions. You will prepare bids, support marketing demos, and align with sales on performance targets.

The role requires a computer-related bachelor's degree, English or Bahasa Malaysia fluency, and broad cloud, virtualization, and database knowledge with a customer-service mindset.

Qualifications

• Experience with big data platforms CDH/TDH/FusionInsight and data warehouse components.

• Strong communication, responsibility and service orientation.
• Certifications like CCNA/MCSE/RHCE/OCP and SI experience are a plus.
• Experience in data disaster recovery and backup industries; VMware/Citrix foundation.

1.Be responsible for the establishment and management of the technical team in Malaysia, conduct product explanations, demonstrations, PoCs, etc. for customers;

2.Be responsible for compiling technical solutions for projects, preparing bids, and giving explanations;

Job Requirements:

1.Bachelor's degree, major in computer-related fields. Language requirement: be proficient in communicating in English or Bahasa Malaysia.

2.Be familiar with Windows/Linux/Unix operating systems and common storage and network basic knowledge.

3.Be familiar with the working principles of Router/Switch, and have good WAN/LAN maintenance and management capabilities.

4.Be familiar with mainstream databases such as SQLServer, Oracle, MySQL, and domestic databases, and understand common data backup methods.

5.Be familiar with the overall framework of public cloud, private cloud, hybrid cloud, hyper-convergence, and virtualization architectures, and have pre-sales or implementation experience.

6.Be familiar with the component framework of big data platforms such as CDH, TDH, FusionInsight, and be familiar with data warehouse components and have practical operation experience.

7.Be familiar with backup software and database products, and have relevant manufacturer or practical usage experience. Those with local working experience in Malaysia are preferred;

8.Have good communication skills, strong sense of responsibility and service spirit.

Those with SI working experience or comprehensive network, system, and database integration capabilities and strong troubleshooting capabilities are preferred.

CCNA, MCSE, RHCE, OCP and other certifications.

Have working experience in data disaster recovery and backup related industries.
