Job summary

BigHire is seeking a detail-oriented Technical Engineer (Drawing Management) to join the CCSI project team in Rawang, Selangor. You will manage the full lifecycle of construction drawings, ensure strict version control, and liaise with local QPs and design institutes to resolve clarifications and align submissions.

The role requires strong AutoCAD skills, proficiency in office software, and bilingual communication in Chinese and English for liaison with consultants and management.

Qualifications

• Strong familiarity with Malaysian building/factory drawing standards.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and standard office productivity suites.
• Fluent in written and spoken Chinese and English.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of project construction drawings, including receipt, organization, submission for approval, archiving, and strict version control.
• Liaise with local QPs, design institutes, and client supervisors to resolve drawing clarifications and align submissions.
• Track on-site construction progress against drawings and report layout conflicts or engineering variations.
• Proficiently modify and prepare as-built drawings, variation blueprints, and technical claim attachments using AutoCAD.
• Organize technical schemes and site records, and provide technical briefings as needed.

**About the Role:**We are seeking a detail-oriented **Technical Engineer (Drawing Management)** to join the **CCSI** project team for a factory/building construction project in **Rawang, Selangor.** This role is responsible for the full lifecycle management of construction drawings, including receiving, sorting, reviewing, archiving, and strict version control. You will serve as the core technical link between local Qualified Persons (QP), design institutes, supervisors, and on-site construction teams.**Key Responsibilities:*** **Drawing & Version Control:** Manage the full lifecycle of project construction drawings, including receipt, organization, submission for approval, archiving, and strict version control (mastering construction, variation, and detailed shop drawings).* **External Liaison:** Partner closely with local QPs, design institutes, and client supervisors to resolve drawing clarifications, handle joint drawing reviews, and complete regulatory submission drawing alignments.* **Site Inspection:** Track on-site construction progress against drawings, identifying and reporting layout conflicts or engineering variations immediately.* **CAD Drafting:** Proficiently utilize AutoCAD to modify and prepare final as-built drawings, variation blueprints, and technical claim attachment diagrams.* **Technical Archiving:** Assist in organizing technical schemes, delivering technical briefings, and organizing site technical records systematically.**Requirements & Qualifications:*** **Technical Standards:** Strong familiarity with Malaysian building/factory construction drawing standards and basic local uniform building regulations.* **Software Skills:** Highly proficient in AutoCAD and standard office productivity suites; familiar with official engineering drawing submission workflows.* **Languages:** Fluent in written and spoken Chinese and English to independently liaise with local consultants and management.* **Attributes:** Sharp communication skills, proactive, with strong technical coordination capabilities.Faedah & Manfaat**''Additional compensation details, allowances, and comprehensive benefits will be discussed further during the interview stage.''**KemahiranDrawing Version ControlAutoCADAs-Built DrawingsLocal QP LiaisonDocument ManagementFactory ConstructionConstruction DeviationShop Drawings
