Job summary

BigHire is seeking a Site Quality Control (QC) Engineer for the CCSI construction team in Rawang, Selangor. The role leads on-site inspections, concrete testing, and verification of hidden-works across civil, structural steel, M&E, and finishing trades to ensure compliance with client engineering specs.

You will implement mock-up milestones, run multi-tier inspection protocols, manage defect logging and root-cause repairs, and coordinate material testing with lab and field teams while liaising

Qualifications

• Thorough understanding of Malaysian industrial plant and structural concrete quality parameters and engineering tolerance limits.
• Fluent in English and Chinese for technical discussions, quality correspondence, and directing sub-teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-site quality inspections and progress validation across civil, structural steel, M&E embedding, and finishing trades.
• Implement structural mock-up milestones and multi-tier inspection protocols; verify hidden works.
• Track deviations, log non-conformances, drive root-cause repair loops, and manage client close-outs.
• Oversee material testing including concrete cube sampling, steel heat-number validation, and lab documentation.
• Represent the team during joint client inspections, ensuring timely technical alignment.
