Job summary

YEAN NG ARCHITECT in Malaysia is seeking a CAD Drafter to perform and update architectural drawings and ensure compliance with standards. The role involves collaborating with the project team to produce accurate construction drawings and tender documents for multiple projects.

The candidate should have a Diploma or equivalent, 5+ years of post-qualification experience, and be fluent in Malay and English. Proficiency in AutoCAD and BIM Revit is essential, with the ability to work independently

Qualifications

• Proficient with AutoCAD and BIM Revit.
• Fluent in Malay and English, written and spoken.
• Prefer Junior/Senior Executive in Architecture/Interior Design.

Responsibilities

• Carry out CAD works according to office standards and guidelines.
• Develop and update technical drawings for plans.
• Ensure schedules and deadlines are met.
• Collaborate with Project Team to ensure drawings meet authority requirements.
• Prepare and document tender and construction drawings for projects.
• Support Team Leader/Management with other duties as assigned.

Job description

To carry out CAD works according to standards and guidelines of the office.

Must possess knowledge and experience in architectural drafting.

To ensure work schedules and deadlines established are adhere.

Responsible for the development and updating of technical drawings of the plan.

To work closely with the Project Team to ensure that drawings are correct, meet the authority requirements, and maintain the drawing and design standards.

To perform and assist in preparation and documentation of tender and construction drawings for all projects assigned.

Any other duties as when assigned from time to time by the Team Leader/ Management

Job Requirements :

Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduated Diploma. Technical Certificate, or equivalent.

Minimum 5 Years of post-qualification experience.

Required Skills : Conversant with the use of AutoCAD and BIM Revit.

Fluent in spoken written in Malay and English.

Preferably Junior Executive / Senior Executive specialized in Architecture / Interior Design or equivalent.

Able to work independently with minimum supervision.

Experience in high-rise building drawing, preliminary conceptual drawing. Construction Drawing & all relevant technical issues.

Must be committed and able to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines and milestones.

Must possess own car or motor.
