Job summary

LEXMEDIC TECHNOLOGIES in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a BIM Modeller to assist the Project Manager by preparing AutoCAD drawings and BIM models, including interior layout plans and architectural drawings for Lexington Group projects.

You will prepare drawings for schematic design through construction, ensure compliance with standards, review others\' outputs, support as-built documentation, perform site measurements, and coordinate with the project team to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in BIM modelling or draughting.
• Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks and AutoCAD.
• Ability to prepare detailed drawings and coordination models.

Responsibilities

• Assist PM in preparing AutoCAD drawings and BIM models.
• Prepare CAD drawings and BIM models for schematic design through construction documentation.
• Ensure drawings and BIM models comply with design requirements and standards.
• Independently prepare detailed drawings and review draughtsmen outputs.
• Support with as-built drawings, site measurements, and site execution documentation.
• Perform quality checks to identify and rectify discrepancies.
• Coordinate with project team to issue drawings within timelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
• Maintain filing system for hardcopy and electronic drawing records.

Job description

Assist the Project Manager in preparing AutoCAD drawings and BIM models, including interior layout plans and relevant architectural drawings for projects undertaken by the Lexington Group of Companies.

Prepare CAD drawings and BIM models for schematic design, design development, design coordination, submission documentation, and construction drawings.

Ensure all drawings and BIM models comply with design requirements, project specifications, and relevant standards.

Independently prepare detailed drawings for various design and construction requirements, and review and verify drawings produced by draughtsman to ensure accuracy and consistency.

Support the project team in preparing as-built drawings, construction detailing, and site execution documentation, as well as conducting site measurements and re-measurements when required.

Perform quality control checks on construction drawings and site data to ensure consistency, identify discrepancies, and rectify errors before execution.

Coordinate with the Project Manager and relevant project team members to ensure drawings are accurate, complete, and issued within the required project timelines.

Perform any other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the Management from time to time.

FILING & ADMINISTRATION

To maintain, sort, segregate, and create filling system for Facilities hardcopy & E-filling drawing records and documents.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 1-2 years of working experience in position or equivalent
• Required language(s): English & Bahasa Malaysia
• Highly motivated and ambitious in achieving goals
• Dynamic personality with good people skills
• Have knowledge and proficiency using model authoring software such as Revit, Naviswork and AUTOCAD
