Job summary

Hunters International Sdn Bhd in Shah Alam is seeking an experienced CAD/BIM specialist to support major civil infrastructure projects. You will produce 2D drawings and 3D models for tender submissions and construction, update drawings with latest data, and prepare drawing packages for statutory submissions.

Requirements include a Diploma/Technical Certificate or degree in Drafting or Civil Engineering, 5–7 years of 2D drafting and BIM experience, proficiency in AutoCAD AEC and Autodesk Revit,

Qualifications

• Diploma/Technical Certificate or degree in Drafting, BIM, Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 5-7 years of hands-on 2D drafting and BIM modeling experience in civil infrastructure/heavy construction.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD AEC and Autodesk Revit.
• Experience on Roads/Bridges, Tunnels/Underground Structures, or Metro Rail/Railway projects is preferred.
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin an advantage.
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

About the Company:

A premier civil engineering and infrastructure main contractor, specialising in high-complexity rail transit, tunnel works, and underground space construction, delivering engineering excellence across Malaysia.

Job Responsibilities

1. Project

• Prepare technical drawings across all project phases, including Tender, Preliminary, Detailed Design, and Construction stages.
• Develop, update, and modify schematic, shop, and as-built drawings based on latest engineering data and site changes.
• Prepare complete drawing packages and documentation for statutory authority submissions.
• Collaborate closely with Design Managers, Engineers, and multidisciplinary project teams to resolve technical and design interface issues.
• Maintain complete documentation, track revisions, and consistently follow up on outstanding design actions.
• Provide ad-hoc technical and drafting support to the project team as required by Management.

2. Tender

• Review tender drawings across structural and architectural disciplines (2D & 3D).
• Produce clear, precise 2D drawings and 3D models for tender submissions, technical proposals, and client presentations.

Job Requirements

• Diploma, Technical Certification, or degree in Drafting, BIM, Civil Engineering, or equivalent.
  
• Minimum 5-7 years of solid hands‑on experience in 2D drafting and BIM modeling within civil infrastructure and heavy construction.
• Proficiency in both AutoCAD AEC and Autodesk Revit.
• Project experience in major civil infrastructure projects — experience in Roads/Bridges, Tunnels/Underground Structures, or Metro Rail/Railway is highly preferred.
• Good Command of English & Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently and to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines with minimum supervision.

Location: Shah Alam (On‑site)
Working Day: Mon - Fri (8am - 5pm) | Alternate Sat (8am - 1pm)
Employment Type: 2 Years Contract (Renewable / Conversion to Permanent based on performance)
Remuneration: RM6,000 - RM10,000 (Commensurate with experience)
