Job summary

TITANICOM TECH LIMITED in Malaysia is seeking an on-site IDC data center operator to perform 5×8 duty, respond rapidly to incidents outside working hours, and ensure stable system operation.

You will update infrastructure information, monitor alarms, perform root-cause analysis, and implement MOPs for internal changes. Local language plus English or Chinese is preferred. Titanicom is a Hong Kong-founded IP/IT service platform with global operations.

• Strong incident response and root-cause analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site IDC data center duty with rapid response to incidents outside working hours.
• Update and maintain infrastructure information with 100% accuracy.
• Verify platform alarms and monitor system availability and stability.
• Respond to incidents and reach site per incident management specifications.
• Resolve incidents following Emergency Operating Procedures and escalate to service recovery.
• Conduct root-cause analysis and incident reviews to close the loop.
• Identify fault points and drive recovery during incidents.
• Track and resolve risks until full closure.
• Develop and implement MOP for internal changes and renovations.
• Propose optimizations for monitoring, capacity, security and availability.

Job description

Perform 5×8 IDC data center on-site duty in compliance with Alibaba requirements. Deliver rapid response to operational incidents outside working hours, arrive on-site promptly per incident management specifications, ensure stable system operation, execute emergency handling and on-site support following standards.

Key responsibilities

Perform on-site duty in IDC data center with rapid response to operational incidents outside working hours

Update and maintain complete infrastructure information with 100% accuracy

Periodically verify platform alarm configurations and monitor the availability and stability of monitoring systems

Rapidly respond to incidents and reach the site in accordance with operational incident management specifications

Resolve incidents timely following EOP (Emergency Operating Procedure) and escalates accordingly until service recovery

Complete root cause analysis and incident review to close the loop fully

Quickly identify fault points and drive recovery upon incidents

Track and resolve all identified risks until full closure

Independently develop and implement MOP (Method of Procedure) for internal changes and renovation projects

Propose optimization or renovation suggestions for infrastructure monitoring, capacity, security and availability issues

About you

Solid professional knowledge of data center infrastructure and fundamental IDC industry knowledge

Familiar with power, HVAC and weak-current architecture as well as operating principles of infrastructure within assigned IDC premises

Language Requirement: Local language + English, or Local language + Chinese
