Job summary

Titanicom Tech Limited is seeking a Data Center Project Assistant based in Johor Bahru. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

The role covers designing, installing, and maintaining data center infrastructure with an emphasis on server and networking systems, plus pre-sales technical support and BOM creation. You will collaborate with the business development team, present solutions, and assist in project planning, testing, and documentation to ensure timely, within-budget delivery.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate in English and Mandarin.
• Experience in IP or IT project delivery.
• Self-management with minimal supervision.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
• Work well under pressure and willing to work overtime.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, installation, and maintenance of data center facilities focusing on server and networking systems.
• Oversee planning, design, and implementation of data center networking infrastructure including cabling and security.
• Provide pre-sales technical support, assess requirements, design solutions, and prepare BOMs for deployments.
• Collaborate with business development to deliver technical presentations and support client visits.
• Direct detailed design and execution of server and networking projects, resolving issues during implementation.
• Produce project documentation including design plans, guides, and acceptance reports for smooth handover.

Data Center Project Assistant (Based in JB, Fresh Grads welcomed)

Data Center Infrastructure Management: Lead the design, installation, and maintenance of data center facilities, with a primary focus on server and networking systems. Ensuring high availability and reliability of server operations.

Network and Server Planning: Oversee the planning, design, and implementation of data center networking infrastructure, including structured cabling, server room layouts, and network security systems. Manage the deployment and configuration of servers, switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless networks, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.

Technical Support and Pre-Sales Engineering: Provide expert pre-sales technical support for server and networking projects, including requirements analysis, solution design, and proposal development. Lead technical discussions with clients, assess networking and server requirements, and create detailed bill of materials (BOM) for network and server deployments.

Collaboration and Client Interaction: Work closely with the business development team to deliver technical presentations, support client visits, and participate in strategic discussions related to networking and server solutions. Act as a technical advisor during the pre-sales process, ensuring the proposed solutions align with client needs.

Project Design and Implementation: Responsible for the detailed design and execution of server and networking projects. Address and resolve technical challenges during the implementation phase, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. Manage the installation, configuration, and testing of server and network equipment.

Project Management and Documentation: Provide technical guidance and oversight during engineering projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices. Produce comprehensive project documentation, including detailed design plans, implementation guides, and acceptance reports to facilitate smooth project handover and operations.

Minimal Job Requirement:

Ability to communicate in English and Mandarin. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.

Experience in lP or lT project delivery

Able to self-management and accomplish tasks with minimal supervision

Able to travel domestic/international as requested

Work effectively under pressure and work overtime when necessary

Preferred Job Requirements (Plus point if have):

Familiar with Huawei devices (or H3C devices) and experience on network design/technical implementation is preferred

Preferably certified in Cisco CCNA, CCNP, CCIE, Huawei HCNA, HCNP, HClE, PMP, or ITIL.
