Job summary

TE Connectivity Ltd. is seeking a sourcing specialist to drive creative talent acquisition for engineering roles across the Philippines and Malaysia.

You will build strong relationships with talent communities and manage multiple campaigns across global geographies. The role requires 3+ years in industrial tech/manufacturing recruitment, a data-driven approach, and proficiency with LinkedIn, recruitment databases, and SuccessFactors (preferred).

Qualifications

• 3+ years of industry experience in Industrial Technology and Manufacturing.
• Experience sourcing across functions like Engineering, Operations, Sales, Product, and Strategy.
• SEA and Oversees markets experience is a plus.
• Data-driven decision making; ability to build talent maps, pools and pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Utilize creative sourcing approaches including X-ray searches, search engine optimization, social sourcing, and Boolean strings.
• Create, maintain, and strengthen contact with talent communities for Philippines & Malaysia region.
• Lead the development of meaningful talent pipelines/pools that fulfil business needs as defined by regional plans.
• Provide value-add sourcing advice to key stakeholders to influence hiring decisions and strategies.
• Collaborate with recruiters based in Philippines & Malaysia and other regions to align sourcing strategy with hiring priorities.
• Ensure data integrity in maintaining records in our ATS/CRM and maintain high data integrity.
• Collaborate with regional sourcing teams and share best practices with the larger sourcing team.
• Identify bottlenecks in the sourcing process and drive improvements with stakeholders.

Job Overview

• Utilize creative sourcing approaches, experience in X-ray searches, search engine optimization, social sourcing, and Boolean strings.
• Create, maintain, and strengthen contact with talent communities for both active and passive candidates within TE’s core engineering skill sets for Philippines & Malasia region
• Lead the development of meaningful talent pipelines/pools that fulfil business needs, as defined by regional / business specific recruitment plans
• Provide value-add sourcing advice to key stakeholders to influence and persuade talent decisions and strategies.
• Closely collaborate with recruiters based in Philippines & Malasia and other global regions to align sourcing strategy with hiring priorities and ensure seamless candidate progression
• Ensure data integrity in maintaining records in our ATS/CRM and maintain high data integrity.
• Collaborate with regional sourcing teams and share best practices with the larger sourcing team.
• Identify bottlenecks or challenges in the sourcing and recruitment process and work collaboratively with stakeholders to resolve them, ensuring continuous progress on critical roles
• Proactively identify and drive opportunities for improvements.

What Your Background Should Look Like

• 3+ years of industry experience, preferably in Industrial Technology and Manufacturing, with exposure to sourcing across functions like Engineering, Operations, Sales, Product, and Strategy.
• Participate on intake calls, screening/assessing, interviewing, preparing and extending offers, i.e. compensation negotiation, debriefs.
• Prior experience sourcing/recruiting for SEA and oversees market is a plus.
• Experience working in an HR Shared Services model or Global Capability Center (GCC) is an added advantage.
• Ability to leverage a data-driven approach to make decisions.
• Ability to build talent maps, pools, pipelines and talent market reports.
• Successful track record of achieving targets, whether those be deadlines or hiring targets.
• Self-starter with an incredible work ethic and team first mentality.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple campaigns across global geographies.
• Proficiency in LinkedIn, Microsoft Office and knowledge of using recruitment databases.
• Knowledge of SuccessFactors is preferred.
