Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a System Support Executive/System Analyst to join our IT team in Malaysia. You will support and maintain business applications and IT systems to ensure smooth daily operations, collaborating with users, vendors, and stakeholders to troubleshoot issues and implement improvements.

You will handle ERP systems like NetSuite ERP, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, RMS, and GudangSys WMS, while performing database maintenance and user administration tasks.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in system support or related IT roles.
• Hands-on with ERP systems, business applications and databases.
• Proficient in SQL Server and basic reporting tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1st and 2nd-level support for business applications and IT systems.
• Troubleshoot, resolve, and document system issues and incidents.
• Support ERP and other business applications (NetSuite, D365 BC, RMS, WMS).
• Assist users with transactions, configurations, and process improvements.
• Participate in testing, documentation, and user training.

SYSTEM SUPPORT EXECUTIVE/SYSTEM ANALYST SUPPORT

We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented System Support Executive/System Analyst to join our IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting and maintaining business applications and IT systems to ensure smooth daily operations. You will work closely with internal users, vendors, and stakeholders to troubleshoot issues, support system enhancements, and improve business processes.

Key Responsibilities

1. System Support & Troubleshooting

• Provide first and second-level support for business applications and systems.
• Diagnose and resolve system errors, application issues, user access problems, and system integration failures.
• Investigate incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement timely resolutions.
• Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability.

2. Application Support

Support ERP and business applications, including:

• NetSuite ERP
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
• RMS
• GudangSys WMS
• Other operational systems

• Assist users with system transactions, configuration issues, and process improvements.
• Perform system testing for enhancements, upgrades, patches, and new implementations.
• Maintain system documentation, user guides, and standard operating procedures.

3. Database & Technical Support

• Execute basic SQL queries for troubleshooting, data validation, and reporting.
• Support data extraction, reporting requirements, and system interfaces.
• Monitor scheduled jobs, integrations, and automated processes.
• Verify system backups and coordinate database maintenance activities.

4. User Administration & Support

• Create and maintain user accounts, roles, and access permissions.
• Provide user training and system usage guidance.
• Manage support tickets and ensure timely issue resolution in accordance with service levels.
• Communicate system updates and incident status to relevant stakeholders.
• Coordinate with software vendors and external support teams to resolve technical issues.
• Support system upgrades, enhancements, and implementation projects.
• Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), deployment activities, and post-implementation support.
• Prepare technical documentation, reports, and project status updates.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• 2–5 years of experience in system support, application support, IT operations, or a related role.
• Hands-on experience supporting ERP systems, business applications, and databases.
• Experience with SQL Server, reporting tools, system integrations, and the applications listed above will be an added advantage.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and SQL queries.
• Experience supporting ERP and business applications.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Understanding of IT service management (ITSM) processes.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
• Eager to learn new technologies and business systems.
