Job summary

City-Link Express in Shah Alam is seeking an ICT Applications Support professional. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field and at least 2 years of relevant experience, with MSSQL SSIS/ETL workflow knowledge and strong English skills. You will support EDI requirements, perform tests, train users, and document systems and resolutions. Aware of Windows Server, SQL Server, IIS, and Excel macros responsibilities is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Fresh graduates welcomed.
• Minimum 2 years of working experience in related ICT field.
• Experience with Windows Server, SQL Server, IIS and networking preferred.
• Strong written and spoken English; Bahasa Malaysia an advantage.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows desktop/server OS.
• Experience in ICT system integration and end-user support.
• Experience with MSSQL SSIS or ETL tools; translate requirements into scope of work.
• Experience with Excel Macros.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-sales support for customerEDI requirements.
• Offer application support including issue investigation and root-cause analysis.
• Plan and conduct software testing.
• Conduct user trainings for new applications.
• Document implemented systems and resolutions for future reference.
• Provide first-level application support for incoming requests.
• Carry out other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Job description

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science OR CAN OR CompTIA A+ Networking is an advantage

Fresh graduates are welcomed

Minimum 2 years(s) of working experience in the related field; practical experience of Windows Server, SQL Server, IIS and networking

Good command in written and spoken English, Bahasa Malaysia is an advantage

Requirements

1. Work hour starting from 8.35am until 5.45pm (MON to FRI)

2. Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows desktop, server operating systems

3. Working experience in ICT system integration and end-user application support environment

4. Working experience with MSSQL SSIS or ETL tool, translate business requirement into scope of work

5. Revise and improves the existing EDI / SSIS scripting process and procedure for new customer

6. Working knowledge in Microsoft Excel Macro

7. Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

8. Understanding of software development cycle

9. To prioritize, plan and execute work schedule

Responsibilities

1. Provide pre-sales support on customer’s EDI requirements.

2. To provide application support including issue investigation, diagnosis of root causes and implementation of solutions

3. To plan and conduct software test

4. To conduct user-training sessions as required for new applications

5. To document implemented systems

6. To document resolutions for future reference

7. To provide first level application support for all incoming requests in a professional and courteous manner

8. To carry out any other duties as assigned by the supervisor from time to time and whenever necessary to avoid operation disruption
