Jora Malaysia is seeking an IT infrastructure support specialist to provide Level 2 technical assistance for the organization’s servers and VMware environment.

The role involves handling high-severity incidents, patching, backup administration, AD management, and regular security hardening processes, with documentation of SOPs and capacity planning."

Qualifications

• Diploma / Advanced Diploma or Bachelor in Computer Science / Information Technology
• Preferably 2–3 years of related working experience
• Preferably specializing in Infrastructure support or equivalent
• Knowledge in Server Configurations, VMware Virtualization, OS hardening
• Act as Level 2 technical support for infrastructure
• Handle high severity incidents and requests escalation
• Server (Physical and VMware) management and support
• Perform periodic system patching and upgrades
• Administer server backup and restoration
• Administer Windows Active Directory
• Plan and deploy fixes for Security hardening and vulnerability assessment report
• Monitor IT Infrastructure performance and produce periodic capacity planning report
• Document and update SOP

Preferably at least 2-3 years of related working experience.

Preferably Executive specializing in Information Technology or equivalent.

Knowledge in Server Configurations (disabling unused services) or VMware Virtualization, servers OS hardening methods.

Act as Level 2 technical support for infrastructure.

Handle high severity incidents and requests escalation.

Server (Physical and VMWare) management and support.

Perform periodic system patching and upgrades.

Administer server backup and restoration.

Administer Windows Active Directory.

Plan and deploy fixes for Security hardening and vulnerability assessment report.

Job Requirements:
