Job summary

METTLER TOLEDO is seeking a data analytics specialist to enhance supply chain visibility and drive value across a global organization. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize processes, build predictive models, and promote data literacy through mentorship and training.

The role leverages SQL, Python, KNIME, and BI tools to deliver actionable insights, while staying current with industry trends and best practices in supply chain analytics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM, Data Science, or related field.
• Experience in Data Analytics and Supply Chain (procurement, planning, logistics).
• Knowledge of SAP ECC/BW/HANA and BI tools is preferred.

Our Global Supply Chain organization is looking to expand our advanced analytics capabilities. In this role, you will leverage analytical skills to generate actionable insights that help reduce risk and complexity across our supply chain, and you will work closely with cross-functional, global teams and promote data-literacy across the organization.

We need someone with an analytical mindset who can leverage those skills to generate business value.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize supply chain processes and implement workflows to reduce costs.
• Streamline internal and external supply chain reporting processes to ensure compliance and drive efficiency
• Develop and maintain supply chain models to support decision making
• Use statistical analysis and machine learning techniques to extract meaning from unstructured data and perform advanced text analysis
• Foster data literacy within the organization by providing training and mentorship to other teams across the company
• Measure and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess supply chain performance
• Analyze supply chain data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
• Communicate and present data-driven analyses and recommendations to colleagues across multiple hierarchy levels
• Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices in supply chain analytics
• Other duties may be assigned

What You Need to Succeed

Education, Experience & Skills:

• Minimum of Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in:
• STEM / Natural Sciences
• Data Science, Business Analytics
• Supply Chain / Operations Research
• Or related field of study

Experience:

• Data Analytics
• Supply Chain (e.g., procurement, planning, logistics)

Technical Skills:

• SAP ECC / BW / HANA
• SQL / KNIME (or similar data science tool) / Scripting language (python or similar)
• BI and Visualization (SAC, PowerBI, or similar)
• AI Tools
