Job summary

BYD MALAYSIA SDN. BHD. is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to lead full-cycle recruitment across the organization in Subang Jaya.

You will partner with hiring managers, source top talent, conduct interviews, extend offers, and drive a smooth onboarding process while ensuring compliance and data accuracy. The role requires a Bachelor's in HR or related field and at least 3 years of recruitment experience, including campus or graduate recruitment, with strong communication in English,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in recruitment or talent acquisition, preferably full-cycle recruitment.
• Experience in campus recruitment and graduate talent acquisition is highly preferred.
• Proven experience in recruitment or talent acquisition role, preferably in automotive industry.
• Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and recruitment software.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop comprehensive recruitment strategies for each position.
• Source qualified candidates through job boards, social media, professional networks and referrals.
• Screen resumes and conduct initial interviews to assess candidate qualifications, skills and fit for the organization.
• Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and key stakeholders.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates, providing timely updates and feedback.
• Conduct reference checks and background screenings for selected candidates.
• Extend job offers and negotiate terms of employment as needed.
• Partner with HR team to ensure smooth onboarding process for new hires.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking system.
• Analyze recruitment metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance the recruitment process.
