Job summary

Dyntek Marketing Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Specification Specialist to join our marketing team on a full-time basis. You will identify, define and communicate detailed product and service specifications to support sales initiatives and growth strategy.

This role bridges client requirements and our offerings, ensuring accuracy and market alignment. Ideal candidates bring proven experience in specification development or technical writing within a sales environment, strong communication

Qualifications

• Proven experience in specification development, technical writing or a similar role within a sales or new business development environment.
• Strong understanding of sales processes and the ability to translate client requirements into clear specifications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate complex information clearly and concisely.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and experience with proposal management or documentation software.
• Knowledge of the Malaysian business market is advantageous, but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining detailed product and service specifications that accurately reflect market requirements and client needs.
• Translating client requirements into clear specifications with input from the sales team.
• Conducting market research and competitive analysis to inform specification development.
• Creating comprehensive specification documents, technical briefs and proposal materials for new business opportunities.
• Liaising with internal stakeholders to ensure specification accuracy and feasibility.
• Supporting the sales team with specification guidance during client presentations, negotiations, and proposal stages.
• Identifying gaps in current specifications and recommending improvements to enhance business development outcomes.
• Maintaining an up-to-date library of specifications and ensuring consistency across all materials.
