Job summary

UniPlaster Marketing Sdn Bhd.(HQ) is seeking a capable technical specialist to develop and maintain product specifications, technical documents and related materials for company products.

You will liaise with architects, consultants, contractors and developers to promote and specify products for projects, monitor upcoming constructions, and prepare technical information and proposals to ensure specifications are met.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain product specifications, technical documents and related materials for company products.
• Liaise with architects, consultants, contractors, developers and other relevant parties to promote and specify company products for projects.
• Monitor upcoming construction projects and identify opportunities for product specification and approval.
• Prepare and submit product technical information, samples, catalogues, brochures and other supporting documents as required.
• Conduct product presentations and technical briefings to architects, consultants, contractors and project stakeholders.
• Follow up on product specifications, approvals and project requirements to ensure company products are included in project specifications.
• Maintain and update records of projects, specifications, approvals, contacts and project progress.
• Coordinate with the Sales, Technical and Management teams regarding project requirements, product specifications and customer enquiries.
• Provide technical and product information to customers and assist in resolving product-related enquiries.
• Monitor competitors, market trends, new products and changes in construction specifications.
• Assist in preparing technical proposals, product comparison documents and project submissions when required.
• Visit project sites, consultant offices and customer premises when necessary to understand project requirements and provide technical support.
• Ensure all technical information and product specifications provided are accurate and up to date.
• Follow up regularly with consultants, architects, contractors and project personnel on project status and product requirements.
• Prepare periodic reports on project specifications, approvals, project pipeline and related activities for Management.
• Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the Management from time to time.
