Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Opening Solutions in Malaysia seeks a skilled specification/sales professional to build relationships with developers and architects, and to develop proprietary system specifications.

You will identify design-stage opportunities, maintain CRM, deliver technical solutions and trainings, and support sales in client meetings to convert opportunities into revenue.

Qualifications

• Preferably sales/specification experience in building materials / architectural products / doors & hardware / security solutions / M&E / construction products / project sales.
• Able to present confidently & convincingly to an individual or wide variety of audiences/groups
• Ability to interpret architectural drawings, specifications & tender documents

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with developers and architects; be the contact for design enquiries and escalations to develop proprietary specifications.
• Develop and increase project pipelines and business opportunities.
• Identify projects in the design stage and handover to sales to convert to revenue.
• Maintain CRM system per procedures.
• Provide technical solutions and value-engineering proposals to meet project needs.
• Conduct presentations and trainings.
• Support sales in meetings with clients on specifications.

• Building & maintaining relationships with developers & architects, being the key point of contact for all design related enquires & escalations to develop proprietary specifications for systems
• Developing & increasing projects pipelines & business opportunities
• Identify projects throughout the design stage, handover these projects to sales team at the correct time to ensure it is converted into revenue
• Maintain CRM system as per procedures
• Providing technical solutions & value-engineering proposals to support project requirements
• Conducting presentations & trainings
• Support sales personnel in meeting clients related to specification matters
