Job summary

AmBank Group in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a seasoned Relationship Manager to drive growth and profitability. You will identify opportunities, cross-sell the bank's complete product suite, and manage key client relationships with a consultative approach.

You will work to meet revenue targets, analyze client financing needs, and develop account plans with product specialists. The role includes guiding junior team members and negotiating value-added deals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Admin, Accounting or related field.
• Credit certification is highly preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in relationship management, credit processing and cross-selling.
• Expertise in commercial banking products and financial analysis.
• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive business growth and increase market share by cross-selling AmBank Group's full suite of products and services.
• Achieve agreed budget/targets in total revenue, fee income, PBT, ROE for the team.
• Market and manage key client relationships on a consultative basis.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities with existing and potential clients.
• Ensure customer needs are met while maintaining division profitability.
• Cross-sell products to increase clients' share of wallet by developing an account plan with product specialists.
• Provide training and guidance to team members, including problem solving (Sr. RM).
• Negotiate and structure deals with clients, delivering holistic value-added solutions.
