HOMA ENGINEERING (M) SDN BHD is seeking a meticulous Purchasing Executive based in Kuala Lumpur City Centre to support manufacturing and logistics operations. The role is full-time, focused on sourcing, procurement, and supplier relationship management to drive efficiency and cost savings.

The ideal candidate holds a diploma or degree in business or supply chain, with 1-3 years in purchasing. Proficiency in SAP/ERP and Excel is preferred, and strong communication in Mandarin, Malay, and English

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in purchasing, procurement or related role within manufacturing or logistics.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management and inventory control.
• Proficiency in procurement management systems and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate suppliers to meet requirements.
• Prepare and issue purchase orders with accuracy.
• Negotiate pricing, terms and conditions with suppliers.
• Monitor purchase orders for timely delivery and quality.
• Maintain records of purchase transactions and communications.
• Liaise with internal departments to understand procurement needs.
• Conduct supplier performance evaluations and manage relationships.
• Assist in inventory management and cost-reduction opportunities.
• Handle procurement documentation and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Support procurement reports and spending trend insights.
