Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an experienced procurement professional to oversee partners and stakeholders through the full project lifecycle. You will assess and mitigate risks, enhance third-party risk management, and drive cost reductions while ensuring continuity of operations across the supply chain.

The role requires 2+ years in procurement, fluency in English and Mandarin, and experience with production planning in FMCG or related industries. Location is in Kuala Lumpur with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's in Supply Chain/Logistics/Economics/Business Administration or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of procurement/purchasing experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and search engines.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin with supplier communication abilities.
• Experience in FMCG/AP/Merchandise or related industry.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and supervise business partners and internal stakeholders through project lifecycle.
• Predict, manage, and mitigate risk and enhance third-party risk management capabilities.
• Support continuity of operation with supply assurance and cost reduction.
• Develop and uplift business partners to leadership for strong relationships.
• Review, negotiate, and manage purchase contracts.
• Create and manage procurement plans detailing products, contracts, costs, and schedules.
• Create and update weekly/monthly procurement and KPI reports.
• Travel to meet local and foreign vendors as needed.
