Businesslist in Johor is seeking an experienced Buyer to plan and procure materials for manufacturing projects, ensuring on-time delivery and optimal inventory levels. You will review CTB requirements, coordinate with suppliers, and work with finance to set up supplier accounts and resolve issues.

The role requires 5+ years in procurement, strong negotiation and communication skills, and proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (SAP preferred). This on-site position offers permanent employment in Johor.

Formación

• Diploma or degree in Business, Economics, Commerce or related field.
• 5+ years in procurement, supply chain or similar role.
• Knowledge of manufacturing and procurement processes.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP preferred).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving mindset.

Responsabilidades

• Plan and procure materials to meet manufacturing needs for the assigned project and customer.
• Review CTB requirements and procure materials based on project needs by dates.
• Ensure materials are available for production while maintaining optimal inventory levels.
• Analyse capacity, cycle times, urgency, and material availability to assess production impact.
• Collaborate with suppliers and finance to set up supplier accounts and resolve issues.
