Job summary

Zohorecruit is seeking a procurement supervisor for our Simpang Ampat, Malaysia operations. You will lead a small team of buyers, ensure procurement processes meet quality and cost targets, and coordinate with internal stakeholders to align activities with company goals.

The role requires SAP proficiency, experience in the semiconductor or contract manufacturing sector, and familiarity with Power BI/Tableau.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Purchasing, Logistics, or related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in manufacturing procurement.
• Knowledge of SAP and procurement systems/procedures.
• Experience in semiconductor or contract manufacturer environments.
• Strong vendor management and inventory management knowledge.
• Analytical mindset with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiar with Power BI, Tableau, and Macro tools.

Responsibilities

• Supervises day-to-day operations of the assigned team, guiding tasks and ensuring quality output.
• Manages a small team of buyers, trains and monitors performance and compliance with guidelines.
• Authorizes warnings and escalates to HR or management when needed.
• Implements procurement systems to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
• Educates suppliers on performance metrics and continuous improvements.
• Collaborates with internal stakeholders to align procurement with organizational goals.
• Monitors supplier quality and delivery against targets and coordinates with related teams to improve performance.
• Develops knowledge of materials and supply sources to meet cost and quality requirements within standard costs.
