Job summary

Agensi Pekerjaan Minde Group Sdn Bhd in Johor Bahru is seeking a seasoned procurement leader to manage a team of buyers and drive strategic sourcing across materials, spares and indirect categories.

You will negotiate terms, build strong supplier relationships, and collaborate with planning, operations and engineering to balance cost, quality and inventory while pursuing continuous improvement and best practices across the function.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in procurement/sourcing with supervisory experience
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Familiar with ERP/MRP systems (SAP/Oracle advantageous)
• Ability to lead and coach a purchasing team
• Manufacturing procurement experience preferred

Job Description

• Lead the purchasing function and manage a team of buyers/schedulers

• Ensure on-time delivery while balancing cost, quality, and inventory levels
• Drive cost reduction, continuous improvement, and procurement best practices
• Maintain accurate procurement records, contracts, and documentation.

Job Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, or related field
• 5+ years in procurement/sourcing with at least 2+ years in a supervisory or managerial role
• Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
• Familiar with ERP/MRP systems (SAP/Oracle is an advantage)
• Ability to lead, coach and develop a purchasing team
• Analytical mindset with ability to drive cost & process improvements
• Manufacturing experience is preferred but not mandatory
• Currently at the level of Senior Executive or Assistant Manager are welcomed to apply.
