Celestica Inc. in Senai, Johor, invites an experienced Senior Buyer to join the Supply Chain team on a 6-month contract. You will lead material procurement and CTB tracking to ensure material readiness for production lines and drive shortage mitigations.

You will manage supplier performance, maintain SAP data accuracy, and collaborate with Planning, CFT, and Logistics on supply risks. The role requires SAP expertise, strong negotiation skills, and a track record in manufacturing procurement.

Formación

• Minimum 6 years in procurement or supply chain within manufacturing (semiconductor experience preferred).
• Diploma holder: minimum 10 years in procurement or supply chain within manufacturing (semiconductor experience preferred).
• Hands-on proficiency with SAP (ERP/MRP) is essential.
• Advanced MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsabilidades

• Plan and purchase materials according to project need-by dates; review CTB requirements to ensure zero production downtime while optimizing inventory levels.
• Address critical material shortages, lead quick-turn RFQ/LT assessments, and resolve supplier constraints (including SRA and FAI).
• Execute order push/cancel mitigations based on updated production plans and maintain 100% data accuracy in SAP.
• Partner with Planning, CFT, and Logistics teams to communicate supply risks, process defect returns/credits, and represent purchasing in weekly updates.
• Resolve receiving/A-P invoice disputes, process Cash-in-Advance requests, perform PO clean-ups, and review costs associated with ECOs.
