Job summary

Palmhead Management & Consultancy Sdn Bhd in Sarawak seeks an Operations cum Business Development Manager to lead daily operations and drive strategic growth. You will oversee admin activities, coordinate project timelines, and ensure alignment between clients, the business analyst, and the technical team.

Engage clients to understand needs, identify new opportunities, and present demonstrations, proposals and quotations with support from the Technical Manager.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Business Admin, Management, IT or Project Management.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in operations, PM, BD or client services.
• Strong PM, planning, coordination and follow-up skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Experience in IT/software, ERP or plantation/estate industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day office administration and ensure smooth and efficient business operations.
• Manage overall project timelines, meetings, deliverables, follow-ups and coordination between clients, BA and technical team.
• Engage with clients to understand their business needs, coordinate system requirements and manage feedback, expectations and project updates.
• Identify new business opportunities, potential clients and market needs through research, networking and initial outreach.
• Coordinate product demonstrations, presentations, proposals and quotations, with technical support from the Technical Manager/team where required.
• Maintain relationships with existing clients, follow up on satisfaction and identify cross-selling, upselling and new system/module opportunities.
