You will lead both business development and operations, shaping strategies, building lasting client relationships, and delivering efficient, compliant logistics services.

The role demands strong leadership, clear communication, and a deep understanding of Malaysia's logistics industry.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain management.
• At least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
• Experience in business development, customer relationship management, and sales is an advantage.
• Good understanding of Malaysia's logistics and transportation industry.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Experience in transportation planning, fleet management, and warehouse operations.
• Ability to manage operational costs and improve productivity.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel).

Responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities and expand the company's customer base.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure long-term partnerships.
• Prepare quotations, negotiate contracts, and follow up on business opportunities.
• Formulate and execute business development strategies to achieve sales and revenue targets.
• Oversee daily logistics, transportation, warehousing, and distribution operations to ensure smooth execution.
• Coordinate closely with customers, drivers, warehouse personnel, and internal departments.
• Plan and optimize delivery schedules, fleet utilization, and operational resources.
• Resolve customer inquiries, service issues, and operational challenges promptly and professionally.
• Lead, supervise, coach, and motivate the operations team to achieve company objectives.
• Develop, implement, and continuously improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Establish team KPIs and monitor performance to drive operational excellence.
• Foster a positive, collaborative, and high-performance work environment.
• Monitor operational costs and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and profitability.
• Prepare operational, sales, and performance reports for management review.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety requirements, and relevant government regulations.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across logistics and transportation operations.
