Job summary

Armstrong Auto Parts Sdn Bhd seeks a Manager of Organizational Development to lead OD across Mak Mandin, Alor Gajah and Seremban. Translate business needs into practical people, talent, learning and governance initiatives spanning three plants.

The role covers workforce planning, talent mapping, recruitment governance, training strategy and change management, with dashboards and budgets to drive measurable outcomes in a multi-site manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Organizational Development, Psychology or related field.
• Master's degree or relevant professional certification is an added advantage.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in Organizational Development, Human Resources, Talent Management, Learning and Development or related fields.
• At least 3 to 5 years of experience in a managerial or people leadership role.
• Practical experience in workforce planning, recruitment, learning and capability development, succession planning, employee engagement and change management.
• Experience supporting manufacturing or multi site operations is strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of organizational development, organization design, workforce planning, succession and talent management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Organizational Development strategies aligned with business and future workforce needs.
• Lead workforce planning with Department Heads and Management, including manpower requirements and capability gaps.
• Manage talent mapping, succession planning, and internal mobility initiatives.
• Lead recruitment strategy and governance across three plants, including onboarding and employer branding.
• Monitor recruitment performance such as time to fill and quality of hire.
• Lead annual Training Needs Analysis, training plan and budget.
• Oversee internal and external training, DOJO readiness and post-training evaluation.
• Manage HRD Corp grants, claims and training expenditure.
• Lead employee engagement and pulse surveys with action planning.
• Support restructuring, transformation, digitalisation and other change initiatives.
• Maintain OD dashboards and management reporting on manpower, recruitment, training and engagement.
• Plan and monitor the OD budget and vendor management.
• Lead, coach and develop the OD team across all three plants.
