Inter Island Group Pte Ltd. is seeking a seasoned Business Development Manager (Logistics Project Tendering) to lead tendering processes and grow the client portfolio in the logistics sector. The role requires strategic thinking, strong negotiation skills, and a deep understanding of logistics operations and market dynamics.

You will manage end-to-end tenders, collaborate with internal teams, and pursue opportunities that deliver long-term value to clients and the company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• 5–8 years of relevant logistics experience in business development, tendering, or commercial roles.
• Proven track record in securing logistics projects or contracts.
• Strong knowledge of tender management, contract negotiations, and commercial processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic business development plans with a focus on logistics tenders.
• Identify and pursue opportunities through market research, networking, and prospecting.
• Build and maintain relationships with prospective clients, partners, and industry contacts.
• Manage the full tender lifecycle: opportunity identification, costing, bid preparation, proposal submission, negotiations, award.
• Collaborate with Operations, Finance, and Legal to ensure viable tender submissions and smooth project implementation.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities and maintain competitiveness.
• Deliver persuasive proposals and tender pitches aligned with client requirements and project specs.
• Drive revenue growth by hitting sales targets and KPIs.
• Support client retention and expand existing accounts for repeat business.
