Job summary

Carriera in Klang, Malaysia is seeking a qualified professional with a Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain or International Trade to join our logistics team as a Commercial Coordinator.

You will develop new customers and opportunities, maintain relationships, understand import/export requirements, prepare quotations, source suppliers, and coordinate between customers, internal teams and external partners to ensure on-time delivery and accurate billing.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain or International Trade.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant logistics or freight forwarding experience.
• Strong understanding of freight forwarding workflow and billing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop new customers and business opportunities.
• Maintain and grow relationships with existing and potential customers.
• Understand customers' import, export and logistics requirements.
• Prepare and review customer quotations.
• Source suitable shipping lines and logistics suppliers.
• Coordinate between customers, internal departments and external suppliers.
• Monitor shipments and ensure timely billing.
