Job summary

Randstad in Kuala Lumpur seeks a dynamic Business Development Manager (Logistics) to expand the company’s freight forwarding footprint across international markets.

You will identify opportunities, promote sea/air freight and integrated services, and manage full sales cycles from prospecting to contracting, collaborating with operations and pricing teams to tailor logistics solutions for key accounts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience in Freight Forwarding Logistics, leading sales growth, with track record in new client acquisition & independent revenue generation.

Responsibilities

• Identify and capture new business opportunities across key commercial sectors to expand market presence.
• Formulate strategic sales initiatives to promote sea freight, air freight, and integrated supply chain services.
• Manage complete sales life cycles independently, from initial prospecting and client engagement to contract finalisation.
• Establish and cultivate strong relationships with commercial decision-makers to secure sustainable revenue streams.
• Partner closely with internal operational teams to deliver tailored logistics solutions to prospective clients.
