Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a proactive Customer Service Executive to join our logistics team in Klang. You will handle customer enquiries, coordinate shipments, monitor delivery status, and ensure a smooth customer experience.

Requirements include a Diploma/Bachelor in Business Admin / Logistics and 1–3 years in related roles; English and Bahasa Malaysia proficiency is essential, Mandarin an advantage. MS Office skills (Excel/Outlook) and ERP exposure are preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in customer service, logistics, freight forwarding, transportation, or a related industry is preferred.
• Fresh graduates with good communication skills may also be considered.
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and spoken; Mandarin or other languages would be an added advantage.
• Good communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills.
• Able to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
• Experience with logistics, transportation, warehouse, or ERP systems will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Handle customer enquiries via phone, email, WhatsApp, and other communication channels.
• Provide timely updates on shipment status, delivery schedules, and logistics arrangements.
• Coordinate with internal departments, warehouse teams, drivers, transporters, and other relevant parties to resolve customer issues.
• Monitor shipments from collection to final delivery and follow up on delays or exceptions.
• Prepare and maintain shipping documents, delivery orders, invoices, quotations, and other relevant documentation.
• Process customer orders and ensure accurate data entry into the company's system.
• Handle customer complaints professionally and provide appropriate solutions.
• Follow up on delivery discrepancies, damaged shipments, missing items, and other service-related issues.
• Maintain accurate customer records and ensure proper documentation of enquiries and complaints.
• Coordinate special delivery requirements and ensure customer instructions are communicated clearly to the operations team.
