Job summary

InterContinental Hotels Group in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Training & Talent Development professional to design and deliver hotel-wide programs aligned with HR strategy. You will manage content delivery, coach trainers, and liaise with regional partners to meet performance objectives.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in HR/Business, 3 years of related experience, and a proven ability to drive training initiatives within a corporate environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
3 years of related experience and 1 year of managerial experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Strong problem-solving, reasoning, motivating, organizational and training abilities.

Responsibilities

Create training and talent development programmes within HR budget and control expenses.
Conduct and ensure compliance of key training programs (Employee and IHG Brand Orientation, Service Behaviour, Harassment Free Workplace Training, Performance Management, safety-related training, career development, language training, team building).
Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication with other departments.
Assess training effectiveness and explore new training methods and technologies.
